Summary

Drivis is designed to keep your data yours. Your notes, plans, scores, and chat history are stored on your device, not on our servers. Your voice recordings are transcribed in memory and never saved by us. We use AI providers to power the app’s features, we don’t run ads, we don’t use third-party analytics, and we never sell your data.

What we collect and where it lives

Content you provide (stored on your device only):

  • Your onboarding answers: goals, wake/sleep times, work schedule, coaching preferences, and similar setup information

  • Voice notes and text notes

  • Messages you send to Denzel, your AI coach

  • Habit and life tracking entries you create (such as mood, spending amounts, counters, and time tracking)

  • Personal instructions you give the app

Data generated by your use (stored on your device only):

  • Your daily plans, tasks, and completion history

  • Your GI Scores, streaks, and analytics

  • Denzel chat history

All of the above is stored locally on your device. It is not saved on our servers. When the app needs AI processing (for example, building your plan), the relevant content is sent to our servers, processed, returned to your device, and not retained.

Purchase data: subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We receive subscription status (for example, whether your subscription is active) and an anonymous app user ID. We never see or store your card details.

Technical data: if you enable notifications, a push notification token is used to deliver them. Basic device/platform information is used to run the app.

Voice recordings

When you record a voice note, the audio is captured on your device and sent securely to our server, which passes it to OpenAI for transcription. The audio is processed in memory and is never written to our servers or databases. The recording and its transcript remain on your device. Locally stored voice entries are pruned after approximately 30 days.

AI processing

Drivis is an AI-powered app. To provide the service, your content is sent to these providers for processing:

  • DeepSeek — generates your daily plans, powers Denzel coach conversations, evaluates your notes for helpful suggestions, and produces reports and scoring

  • OpenAI — transcribes your voice recordings (transcription only)

  • Anthropic — generates personalized options during onboarding

These providers process data to deliver the feature you’re using, under their own terms. We only send what is needed for the specific feature.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell your personal data

  • We do not show ads

  • We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs

Retention

  • Your content lives on your device and remains there until you delete it or delete the app

  • Notes and chat history older than approximately 30 days are automatically removed from device storage

  • Server processing is transient: content sent for AI processing is not retained after your request completes

  • Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat per their policies

Deleting your data

Because your data is stored on your device, deleting the app deletes your Drivis content. You can also contact us at support@drivis.app with any deletion or access request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact support@drivis.app to exercise them. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. Our lawful bases for processing are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.

International transfers

Drivis is available worldwide. AI processing occurs on our providers’ infrastructure, which may be located in the United States or other regions. By using Drivis you understand your content is processed in these locations as described above.

Children

Drivis is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used Drivis, contact us and we will address it.

Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. We limit server-side handling of your content to transient processing as described in this policy.

Push notifications

Notifications (task reminders, Denzel check-ins) are opt-in. You can control them in the app’s settings or your device’s system settings at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
